2024-2025 Yamaha MT-09 FZ-09 Carbon Fiber Tank Side Panels (Style B) by AK Carbon

Carbon fiber is the modern standard for motorcycle upgrades — cutting weight, sharpening handling response, and elevating the visual presence of the bike, all from a single material. These tank side panels bring all three benefits to your Yamaha MT-09 or FZ-09, replacing the stock tank side trim with lightweight, corrosion-resistant, race-derived carbon panels that give the fuel tank area a clean, finished carbon look. Sold as a pair.

Manufacturing Process

• Original 3D scanning and real vehicle test-fitting for accurate, factory-matching geometry
• High-precision molds paired with a genuine dry carbon layup process
• Autoclave curing under high heat and pressure — the same method used in aerospace, Formula 1, and MotoGP components — presses out micro air pockets for maximum strength at minimum weight
• Five-layer exclusive surface treatment for a refined, consistent carbon weave
• Finished with a premium automotive-grade clearcoat for UV resistance and scratch protection
• Wet-sanded and machine-polished for an ultra-glossy, showroom-ready surface

Material Quality

Every AK Carbon part is made from genuine PrePreg carbon fiber, pre-impregnated with the precise resin ratio needed for maximum strength-to-weight performance. Combined with autoclave curing, this gives each panel the structural integrity demanded by real motorsport applications — not just a cosmetic carbon look.
