We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
1. Return Eligibility To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, uninstalled, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note: For motorcycle fairings and carbon fiber parts, any items that show signs of installation, modification, or scratching will not be accepted for return.
2. Return Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees
Customer Remorse / Wrong Item Ordered: If you ordered the wrong item or simply changed your mind, the buyer is strictly responsible for all return shipping costs and insurance. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Defective or Damaged Items: If the item is defective, damaged upon arrival, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will evaluate the issue and make it right.
Restocking Fee: We do not charge a restocking fee for returned items.
3. Three Steps to Return
Step 1: Contact our customer service at info@akfairings.com to request a return authorization. We will reply to you within 1 business day. Any returned package without prior authorization will be put on hold or refused.
Step 2: If the return request is confirmed, please carefully package the product in its original packaging. Our customer service will provide you with the exact return shipping address.
Step 3: Send the return shipment tracking number to info@akfairings.com.
4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as special orders, personalized fairing kits, or custom paint jobs). Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance sale items or gift cards.
5. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
6. European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
7. Refunds Process We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@akfairings.com.
